Minnie Kaye presents an evening of music with songs from award winning singer/songwriter Carole King. Minnie will take many of Carole King's most famous songs such as 'You've Got a Friend' and 'I Feel the Earth Move' and arrange them in a new style that will be sure to make you fall in love with them all over again.
Carole King remains to be one of the most prolific and talented songwriters of her time, writing her first number one hit 'Will You Love Me Tomorrow' when she was only 17. Carole wrote many well-known songs that were covered by other artists and singers such as 'Natural Women' and 'Loco-Motion'. When she was 29 she released her solo album 'Tapestry'. During this James Taylor recorded her song "You've Got a Friend' which resulted in the track being number one on the charts. Carole King also won numerous awards for her song-writing that included four Grammy Awards as well as selling over 25 million units of her album 'Tapestry. Carole's music continues to have a lasting legacy and impact on all those who hear her writing.
