This will be the debut big band album by the 'Minnie Big Band', led by Melbourne based arranger and composer Minnie Hill. This album will feature the music of Dave Brubeck and will celebrate what would have been his 100th birthday. The album will include an all-star lineup of many of Melbourne's top jazz musicians and emerging students. It is hoped that  this crowdfunding campaign will raise $3000 to go towards expenses such as musician and studio fees.

The big band will also be joined by Jack Earle on piano and Carlo Barbaro on alto saxophone in a feature role as a tribute to both Dave Brubeck and Paul Desmond. The album will consist mostly of Dave Brubeck's compositions that have been arranged for full big band.
